Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Facebook Media Buyer to manage paid acquisition across Facebook and
Instagram. You will own campaign execution, budget pacing and optimisation, working closely with creative and
analytics colleagues to grow acquisition profitably.
Key responsibilities
• Plan, launch and optimise campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, with clear objectives, audience strategies and
approved budgets.
• Monitor spend and performance daily, investigate changes and adjust campaigns against agreed acquisition
cost and profitability targets.
• Build structured tests across audiences, creative concepts, placements and landing pages; document
hypotheses, results and next steps.
• Scale campaigns when results support increased investment, managing budget pacing and explaining the
trade-offs behind spending decisions.
• Brief designers, video editors and copywriters on customer insights, hooks and offers; share clear feedback on
creative performance and fatigue.
• Work with technology and BI colleagues to validate conversion tracking, investigate attribution differences
and reconcile platform results with business reporting.
• Analyse the full acquisition funnel, including landing page conversion and downstream customer quality,
revenue and retention where relevant.
• Produce concise performance reports that explain results, risks and recommended actions; maintain an
organised campaign and testing history.
• Follow platform advertising policies and internal approval processes, checking the consistency of ads, offers
and landing pages before launch.

Requirements

Required skills and experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on paid social experience, including direct responsibility for Facebook and Instagram
acquisition campaigns.
• Evidence of measurable improvements in campaign performance, with a clear explanation of your budgets,
decisions and personal contribution.
• Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, campaign structure, audience targeting, creative testing
and budget management.
• Confidence analysing CPA, CAC, ROAS, conversion rates and revenue trends, and understanding how
attribution affects reported results.
• Practical understanding of conversion tracking, Meta Pixel, Conversions API and event validation, with the
ability to brief technical colleagues.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations.
• Fluent written and spoken English, sound judgement and the ability to manage priorities independently.
Preferred experience
• Experience in performance marketing, affiliate marketing, ecommerce or subscription businesses operating
across international markets.
• Experience with GA4, Tableau or other BI tools, and evaluating customer lifetime value alongside acquisition
costs.
• Experience collaborating on direct response video, landing page experiments and offer development.
What success looks like
• During the first three months, establish reliable campaign reporting, a prioritised testing plan and a
productive feedback loop with the creative team.
• Over the first six months, demonstrate measurable progress against agreed acquisition and profitability
targets while maintaining disciplined budget control.
• Make scaling decisions using business results, communicate risks early and turn test findings into repeatable
improvements.
