iGaming Payments | Payment Aggregation | Local Payment Providers
We are a payment aggregator working with iGaming merchants and payment providers. We are expanding into Southeast Asia and looking for a strong local Business Development Manager who can build profitable payment flows across the region.
This is not a generic sales role. We are looking for someone who understands the iGaming payment ecosystem and can create working commercial and operational connections between merchants and local payment providers.
The initial focus markets are:
- South Korea
- Philippines
- Thailand
- Malaysia
- Indonesia
The main goal is to help the company launch the region, build the first working merchant-provider payment routes, start processing volume, and generate the first profit from Southeast Asia.
If successful, this person will grow into the Regional Director for Southeast Asia, with a future local structure of payment managers and sales managers reporting to them.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop the company’s iGaming payments business in Southeast Asia.
- Identify and onboard iGaming merchants in South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
- Identify and develop relationships with local payment providers, PSPs, payment agents, payment aggregators, and other regional payment partners.
- Create working merchant-provider payment routes that can generate real transaction volume and profit.
- Map the local iGaming payments ecosystem in each target country.
- Understand local payment methods, payout options, settlement models, provider capabilities, limits, fees, and operational risks.
- Negotiate commercial terms with merchants and payment providers.
- Work with the internal payments team to test, launch, and optimize payment routes.
- Support the first transactions and help resolve early operational issues with merchants and providers.
- Build a strong pipeline of iGaming merchants, local payment providers, PSPs, and strategic partners.
- Represent the company at regional iGaming and payment-related business meetings and events.
- Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and practical growth opportunities to management.
- Help define the future regional structure, including hiring needs, team setup, and operating model.
What We Expect
- Proven business development experience in Southeast Asia.
- Strong experience in iGaming payments, payment aggregation, PSPs, or local payment provider businesses.
- Existing network among iGaming merchants, PSPs, payment providers, payment agents, or payment aggregators in Southeast Asia.
- Practical understanding of how iGaming payment flows work.
- Ability to build real merchant-provider connections, not just generate leads.
- Understanding of deposits, payouts, settlements, payment routing, payment limits, fees, conversion rates, approval rates, and provider performance.
- Experience with local payment methods, bank transfers, e-wallets, QR payments, P2P/P2C flows, crypto payments, or alternative payment methods is a strong advantage.
- Ability to negotiate commercial terms and identify profitable business opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent or strong working English.
- Local language skills in Korean, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, or Tagalog are a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently, move fast, and build the region from scratch.

The candidate should understand not only how to sell, but also how to create a payment setup that works in practice: merchant demand, provider capability, payment method, commercial terms, settlement, risk, limits, and operational execution.
