Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist who will take ownership of the email marketing channel while contributing to CRM, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.

 

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong hands-on email marketing execution with a solid understanding of user segmentation, automation, retention, and reactivation strategies.

 

Initially, the focus will be on maintaining and optimizing existing email operations, improving campaign execution, audience targeting, database segmentation, automated flows, reporting, and overall channel performance.

 

Over time, the role will also support the development of a more advanced CRM and lifecycle marketing setup in collaboration with internal tech, product, and data teams. This is a highly ownership-driven role with direct impact on performance, growth, and business results.

Requirements

Email Marketing & Campaign Execution:

• Own the planning, setup, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns

• Maintain and improve existing recurring email communications

• Quickly become operational with the current email platform (AWeber)

• Manage and optimize audience segmentation and database structure

• Improve campaign targeting, messaging logic, reporting, and overall performance

• Create and maintain campaign calendars, workflows, and templates

• Build, optimize, and scale automated email flows

• Identify opportunities for new lifecycle and behavioral campaigns

• Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, timing, and automation logic

• Monitor campaign performance and implement data-driven improvements.

 

Performance & Channel Growth

• Take ownership of email channel performance and growth

• Improve engagement, retention, reactivation, and commercial outcomes

• Optimize campaigns against key KPIs and business objectives

• Translate data insights into actionable improvements

• Continuously identify opportunities to scale channel performance

• Contribute directly to monthly, quarterly, and annual departmental goals CRM, Segmentation & Lifecycle Marketing

• Structure and optimize the user database for more effective targeting

• Build user clusters based on engagement, activity, recency, and business value

• Improve segmentation logic to increase campaign relevance and efficiency

• Support retention and reactivation initiatives through better lifecycle communication

• Contribute to lifecycle strategy development across different user stages

• Help improve user prioritization and communication structure over time Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Learn and work with tracking systems, including Keitaro

• Collaborate closely with tech, data, design, analytics, and product teams

• Support campaign tracking, attribution, reporting, and automation improvements

• Help define requirements for segmentation models, triggers, and reporting logic

• Support the transition toward a more mature CRM and lifecycle marketing setup.

 

Must-have • 4+ years of experience in Email Marketing, CRM, Lifecycle, or Retention Marketing

• Experience in affiliate marketing

• Strong hands-on experience with email campaign execution and optimization

• Understanding of audience segmentation, database management, and targeting

• Experience with automated flows and trigger-based communication

• Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization

• Strong analytical mindset and KPI-driven approach

• Ability to quickly learn new tools and tracking systems

• Ownership mentality and proactive approach to improving performance

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Fluent English

 

Nice-to-have

• Experience with AWeber, Keitaro, or similar platforms

• Experience in iGaming, betting, or performance-driven industries

• Exposure to CRM strategy, retention, reactivation, and lifecycle marketing

• Experience with behavioral segmentation and user clustering

• Experience collaborating with tech/data teams on automation or integration projects
