Video Editor – YouTube Shorts / VSL (Health eCommerce) J441

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join a fast-growing health eCommerce company focused
on video-driven marketing and direct response campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to create scroll-stopping short-form content
while maintaining strict compliance with advertising platform policies, especially for Google and
YouTube.

You will work with existing video materials and optimize them into high-performing YouTube Shorts
and video assets used in VSL funnels, ensuring both performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form video content designed for YouTube Shorts and paid traffic funnels
• Transform raw footage and AI-generated assets into engaging, high-retention videos
• Ensure all content follows platform compliance and advertising guidelines
• Identify and remove any elements that may violate ad policies
• Maintain smooth pacing, clear storytelling, and professional visual quality
• Work closely with marketing teams to improve video performance and engagement

Technical Skills:

• Experience with professional editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or
similar)
• Familiarity with AI content tools or workflows is a strong plus
• Ability to deliver videos in 1080p MP4 format
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual clarity

• Strong experience editing short-form content (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels, etc.)
• Understanding of direct response marketing and VSL-style content
• Ability to create scroll-stopping hooks and high-retention edits
• Familiarity with AI-generated video, voice, or visual assets used in modern content
production
• Experience reviewing content for platform compliance (Google / YouTube policies)
• High attention to detail when reviewing video assets
• Professional video editing skills (timing, pacing, audio balancing, transitions)

Candidates will complete a short editing test to demonstrate their ability to:

• Review a video against compliance guidelines
• Identify non-compliant sections with timestamps
• Edit the video to ensure full compliance while maintaining quality and flow
