Head of Cybersecurity Business

Key Accountabilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all cybersecurity-related inquiries and solution designs.
• Lead presales activities, including client engagement, product demos, and RFP responses.
• Monitor market trends to ensure offerings remain competitive.
• Design and implement robust, scalable cybersecurity solutions based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and marketing teams for seamless solution integration.
• Curate and refine the cybersecurity service portfolio in alignment with market and company goals.
• Lead internal and external cybersecurity training initiatives.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key cybersecurity vendors.
• Select tools and technologies that align with client needs and strategic objectives.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on cybersecurity status, successes, and areas for improvement.
• Manage the cybersecurity budget effectively.
• Develop partnerships to expand service offerings and market presence.
• Ensure compliance with regional and global cybersecurity standards and practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• MBA is an added advantage.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, or equivalents.
• OSCP certification is an added advantage.

Work Experience

• 5–10 years of proven experience in designing and launching cybersecurity service portfolios.
• Ability to align technical services with business strategies and market needs.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and service packaging for market competitiveness.
• Experience in product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.

Functional Competencies

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls
• Expertise in tools such as:
  • SIEM (Security Information & Event Management)
  • EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response)
  • IAM (Identity & Access Management)
  • PAM (Privileged Access Management)
  • DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Vulnerability assessment
  • Penetration testing
  • Threat hunting
• Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure)
• Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends and threat landscapes
• Strong capabilities in:
  • Proposal creation
  • RFP responses
  • Solution pitching
  • Client requirement analysis and tailored solutions
  • PoC (Proof-of-Concept) design
• Local/regional business development experience
• In-depth understanding of the cybersecurity vendor ecosystem
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
• Strong presentation and persuasive communication skills
