Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Media Buyer to lead our media buying team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital media buying, a keen understanding of the latest industry trends, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies. As the Head of Media Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and optimization of our media campaigns across various platforms

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and manage the media buying team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the achievement of team and individual goals.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive media buying strategies that align with client objectives and maximize ROI.

  • Oversee the planning, negotiation, and purchase of media across various digital platforms, including but not limited to social media, native ads, search engines, (Facebook ads, Taboola, Outbrain, Google Adwords…).

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve results.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our media buying strategies remain cutting-edge.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and account management, to ensure seamless campaign execution.

  • Provide regular reports and insights to the internal team.

  • Manage media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the media buying landscape, proposing new ideas and initiatives to drive business success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a Data Scientific field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital media buying, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns.

  • Advance in English, Spanish or French will be an advantage

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team.

  • In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms, including META Ads, Native  Ads, Tiktok ads and others.

  • Proficiency in using media buying tools and analytics platforms.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends
