Description

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales channel: research and source new affiliate opportunities and partners. Help manage relationships with the affiliate partners specifically in Japan market, to grow revenue and affiliate marketing activity. Stay up to date with the latest affiliate marketing trends
  • Optimize revenue: devise campaigns with affiliate partners and leverage available channels to effectively promote them
  • Budget ownership: assist the partnership marketing manager in achieving the allocated budget for the partnership program and ensure a preset level of positive ROI is achieved by forecast performance and activity for all affiliate partners – both new and existing
  • Technology understanding: work closely with the headquarters to integrate the back-end of the technology requirement based on affiliate partners’ needs to create seamless user experience.
  • Reporting: produce reports regularly for affiliate partner companies and discuss ways to achieve better efficiency; produce and share campaign results to partnership marketing manager to gain an understanding on scalability.
  • Document review: be responsible for reviewing legal documents (eg commercial agreements), overseeing content translation.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role and a proven track record in affiliate marketing from cold calling, idea generation, proposal creation, terms negotiation, goal setting to execution
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a B2B sales role
  • Analytically minded and detail oriented; have used data analytics tool (SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics) in previous roles
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • A creative thinker and an effective communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align with Trip.com’s global and regional objectives for planning and execution
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm, flexibility, and motivation.
  • Fluent Japanese and business-level English required; ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus
  • Experience working in the travel industry or previous experience working for OTA is a plus
