Responsibilities:

Develop global media plan

  • Partner with channel strategists to translate market objectives into localized media plans
  • Develop, manage, optimize paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms and formats such as display, social media, video, native and more.
  • Appropriately size media investments across walled gardens and open ad exchanges
  • Identify untapped opportunities with niche sites and networks highly indexing against target audience and business goals.
  • Define on reserve vs programmatic buys within media plans
  • Set-up and monitor advertising campaigns.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs to prospective sites, DSPs, and vendors
  • Identify 3rd party data sources and technology for enhanced targeting

Deliver against financial targets

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage quarterly media budgets across key European markets to deliver against financial targets
  • Collaborate with digital media analyst to evaluate media performance and associated KPIs to ensure campaign objectives are being met.
  • Analyze campaign data and develop strategies to scale investments and improve performance.
  • Measure and optimize campaigns daily using vendor dashboards, site analytics suite, and other reporting suites
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand incrementality of media tactics and efficacy of media spend

Optimize media plans per business objective

  • Monitor program performance and optimize buys to achieve business objectives
  • Maintain and report weekly campaign KPIs and insights to internal stakeholders
  • Appropriately size media investments across walled gardens and open ad exchanges
  • Identify, evaluate, and optimize media formats, platforms, and publishers to achieve business objectives.
  • Continuously monitor media supply availability, market rates (CPM, CPC, CPA), and competitive activity.

Ad hoc responsibilities

  • Define and manage appropriate application of device targets (desktop, mobile, CTV, etc) and display formats (banner, video, native, etc) relative to business objectives
  • Keep abreast of market trends and industry benchmarks

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience with digital media buying
  • Experience working with various DSPs and exchanges (at an agency or trading desk)
  • Experience buying digital media on reserve or programmatically
  • Experience with third-party ad servers (DoubleClick, Atlas, Flashtalking, etc.)
  • Experience with research tools (@Plan, Comscore, etc)
  • Working knowledge of digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Excellent relationship building, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Successful track record as a collaborative business partner
  • Experience managing advertising budgets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional work ethic, self-motivated, and attention to detail.
