Description

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join the Sparxoo team, you will work in conjunction with our badass experts to research, build, manage and optimize a wide array of digital media channels including SEM, retargeting, paid search, and more. You should have prior experience leading pay-per-click (PPC) marketing programs, be self-motivated, and maintain an analytical mindset. An analytic mentality coupled with technical and strategic problem-solving is what we seek. What you will do

Here’s the deal—there’s no typical day at Sparxoo. Our dynamic environment calls for adaptable problem solvers who believe change is the only constant in life (because it is). Although you might wear multiple hats on any given day, we’ve compiled the most important responsibilities:

  • Understand client objectives, benchmark campaign results, and execute marketing campaigns to exceed client goals; clearly communicating results to account leaders and clients
  • Operate digital media buying platforms with a goal of constant optimization to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of paid digital campaigns.
  • Create and maintain profitable ROI strategies using Google AdWords, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, SnapChat and other paid digital advertising strategies
  • Use understanding of the full customer journey to drive targeting, platform and executional recommendations
  • Constantly advance the capabilities of what can be bought in-house from programmatic buying platforms to targeting tools.
  • Provide strategic, proactive and frequent insight on account performance to internal team and clients based on tracking, reporting, and budget pacing
  • Lead competitive research and analysis and facilitate A/B tests to support development / concepting of new ideas
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of client business and critical metrics, keep up to date with the latest Industry news and be dedicated to actively spotting trends, product releases, and other opportunities which could enhance our activity

Requirements

We want you to be successful at Sparxoo, starting from the moment you walk through our doors. And while we’ll be your #1 cheerleader and help you along the way, in order to make a substantial impact you’ll need to have the following:

  • 3+ years experience with pay-per-click marketing strategy, tactics and implementation, ideally in an agency setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in media strategy and execution, ideally within a media agency.
  • Google AdWords certification required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to perform rigorous campaign, website and A/B testing analysis
  • Reasonable availability to respond to requests and attend the real-time needs of campaigns outside normal business hours.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare organized and easy-to-understand documents and reports
  • Desire and ambition to always build on professional and personal knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work in an ambitious, flexible and adaptable environment
  • A detail and results-oriented mentality, including being analytical, organized, thorough and competitive to take initiative and deliver excellence

 What will set you apart

  • MBA or advanced degree in marketing, analytics or other similar areas of focus
  • Agency experience
  • Knowledge of PPC tools (Marin Software, Wordstream, iSpionage, SEMRush, Moz, SpyFu)
  • Bing Certification and/or Programmatic buying experience
  • Certificate in advanced computing or big data analytics
  • Track record in demand generation/sales enablement in B2B SaaS
  • Possess an existing network of external relationships and build new high impact relationships to accomplish objectives and grow the agency
  • Experience integrating digital marketing and sales enablement through customer relationship management platforms (i.e. Salesforce)
